Chillingham Castle is a 13th-century Grade I-listed fortress in Northumberland, England. Famous for its bloody border-war history, grand state rooms, and reputation as one of Britain’s most haunted locations, it has been owned by the same continuous family line since 1246.
Alnwick
A visit to the medieval Northumberland market town of Alnwick, famed for its twisting cobbled streets with an eclectic collection of individual shops which are teamed with some top attractions including Alnwick Castle, Alnwick Castle was the location for Hogwarts in the Harry Potter films. Home of the Percy family and Dukes of Northumberland since 1309, alongside is The Alnwick Garden, a fairytale setting with one of the world’s largest tree houses.
