The Whitby Fish and Ships Festival is back for 2025, promising a lively celebration of Whitby’s rich fishing heritage.

Enjoy live cookery demonstrations from top local chefs, fish craft demonstrations, and incredible live music from local bands and sea balladeers. There will be many family activities and entertainment, local exhibitors, and more!

Highlights:

• Cooking demonstrations from top local chefs.
• Fish Craft Marquee: Filleting demos, crab and lobster preparation, and meeting the local fishermen, keeping these traditional skills alive.
• Crafty workshops for kids.
• Street Entertainment: Pirate-themed walkabouts, sea shanties, and live theatre performances.
• Music Marquee: Enjoy live music all weekend with local bands, sea shanties, and toe-tapping performances.

The majority of trips return from destination between 16:30 and 17:30. The driver will inform you of the exact time on the day, dependant on outward travel times. Whilst we do not guarantee a W/C on board most of our excursion fleet do have toilet facilities. For your comfort we allocate seating at time of booking, however reserve the right to alter or amend your seat allocation for utilisation purposes.
